Why we made the Dog-a-Day app

We wanted one convenient place to learn interesting background information about dog breeds—without ads or clutter. Dog-a-Day introduces a new breed every day with a concise article, photos, videos, and hand-picked resources so you can keep exploring.

Two of the daily widgets are designed to spark curiosity: guess the breed from the image. Another one shows the name next to the image. Tap on either widget to read a quick overview when you have a minute, and come away with facts you’ll actually remember (and share).

Who we are

Nick is the developer and has been building iPhone apps since 2008. Gael researches and writes each breed feature. Dog-a-Day is our shared passion for learning about the wide world of dogs.
